Joyful Foundation

Joyful Foundation's In-Home Preschool is here to grow the foundation of your child’s educational experience and help them grow in confidence, through thoughtful planning and loads of love! It is my goal to develop the whole child, building not only the foundation of their academics, but also character, self- confidence, the arts, and creativity. I do this through direct instruction and lots of play. I believe the best way to learn is when we are having fun, and that is exactly what we will be doing here at Joyful Foundations, learning while having fun! I implement a rigorous curriculum, but I will be working within each child’s zone of development to help them succeed and get ready for Kindergarten! One of the best things about Joyful Foundations In-Home Preschool is the small class sizes. Our classes will never be bigger than 6 students, which allows for me to address each students needs in depth.

Class:
Prekindergarten 3/4 Mix
MWF 8-11:10am
Tuition: $190 for 9 month school year and includes a healthy, balanced snack
School Year Schedule:
School Starts September 7th and ends May 26th
Loosely follows Weld Re-5j schedule- modified schedule can be found in pictures. For weather closures, we will follow Weld Re-5j

About Elicia:
Elicia began her career in education with Teach for America, in Houston Texas. She worked in a public and charter school as a prekindergarten 3/4 teacher and prekindergarten 4 teacher. She received her teaching credential through an alternative certification teaching program in Houston, Texas, in which she was nominated for teacher of the year within the alternative teaching program. She taught at KIPP Sharp in Houston as well, which is now a National Blue Ribbon School.
After getting married, she spent a semester at NYU for an MA in dance education, but decided to come home to Colorado to raise her blossoming family. She has been a stay at home mom for the last couple years and is excited to be formally jumping back into education by offering this prekindergarten program to the Northern Colorado community.
