I have taught 5th-8th Grade math, and I began writing curriculum when the Math TEKS changed in 2014. I found out very quickly that the textbooks did not cover the new TEKS in a way that the students could understand or enjoy. I also found that there was not enough material in the textbooks to follow the YAG sufficiently.

I am a big Interactive Notebooker! My students have loved making their journals and have expressed the ways that they have helped them learn. Some students have told me that they remembered how to work problems because they could remember the color of the journal page that we made. They also love having an all-inclusive study guide when test time comes. I started out selling INB pages, and I have know evolved into building my curriculum around my INB.

I strive to develop high quality products that help make the teaching profession a little easier. My TpT products are not just for TEKS, but can be used across the standards.
