• Former chair of Dallas County Democrats 2013-2015, former campaign manager of Adams for Iowa Senate 22 in 2012, 2004 Democratic candidate for Franklin County Supervisor, 1992 Democratic candidate for Iowa House 18, former Alden School Board member.
• Dedicated educator in Des Moines Schools as a substitute teacher and in Huntington Learning Center as a tutor. Member of ISEA.
• Rewarded with a Water Specialist IV rank in 2010 from the Water Quality Association while working for Mort’s Water Co. in Latimer, IA.
• Former owner of a small retail shop in Alden, IA for 18 years.
• Graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2000 with a BA in Elementary/Middle School Education from the University of Northern Iowa.
