Kentucky Highland Renaissance Festival

The Highland Renaissance Festival began June, 2006, and is a 1300 Period Festival that offers a wide variety of activities and entertainment.
There are 9 stages of continuous entertainment daily, including LIVE Combat Jousting, Period Music, Dancing, Reenactment, Fire Juggling,
Sword Swallowing, Acrobatics, Mud Show and much more. We have activities for all ages, including Human Chess, Hand Powered Rides,
Games of Skill, Face Painting, Hair Braiding, A Children’s Area and more. You can enjoy some period food and drink as well in our Great Hall,
or even a pint of Ale form one of 2 Pubs. We have over 75 merchants and artisans that sell and demonstrate items such a clothing, jewelry,
handmade blacksmith wares, soaps, herbals, mugs, children’s games and more. The 2017 dates are June 3rd - July 9th (weekends only) Celebrating 12 YEARS!
