The new resident managers offer a unique dimension of quality service with regard to boarding and training the horse, personalized lessons for people of all ages as well as the ability to host numerous kinds of special events, all detailed in the following pages. But King's Revenue Ranch has an added purpose now; it is the new home of Cowboys for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the healing power of the horse and the character building lessons of the cowboy way of life to folks of all backgrounds and circumstances, especially to children in need. We are proud to be located on what was once known in the area as the King Ranch. A three thousand acre cattle ranch, previously owned by a local King family that has now been subdivided. Our ranch is one of the few remaining pieces of a legacy where cattle and cowboys roamed unfettered across this part of Colorado, living the life that has become American legend.

The new name of our facility, King's Revenue Ranch, is a testimony to the strong and enduring bond between horse and owner. King's Revenue, a grandson of Two Eyed Jack, was Pete Relyea's horse for 29 years. Pete has managed world class facilities in New York, Florida, Wyoming and Colorado, and brings 40 years of experience with horses, their owners and uniquely high standards of facility management to the Front Range. Pete is also the Founder and CEO of Cowboys for Kids, so King's Revenue Ranch is now the place where Pete's dream for the future and wide ranging experience come together channeling life and strength from the human to the horse and back again.
