Welcome to my Artist/Teacher page. If you're looking for the very best in piano AND general music instruction, I'm ready to help! With over 30 years of teaching experience, including a wealth of Performance expertise, Music Production (opera), and preparing my students for auditions at schools like NEC, Juilliard, and Curtis, you can rest assured that I'll use my experience and Intuition to your best advantage.

But don't be intimidated by the name-dropping- I'm just as inclined to take hard working students who love any kind of music, for any reason, and have been known to help students polish anything from Saturday Night Fever to Stairway to Heaven, Jazz, and any genre, really.

I'm also experienced and comfortable working with younger children and beginners. Most of my students stay with me an average of 8 years, and as many as 12. My attrition rate is extremely low because my number one priority is to make your child, or YOU, look forward to the next lesson, without feeling inadequate about practice time per se.

I am a member of the College of Examiners of the Royal Conservatory of Music (Canada) and The Music Development Program (US) This is an avenue of Pedagogy that I am familiar with, and may or may not use as one of the tools to enrich the student's musical life and progress.

What you DON'T need to do is allow another teacher to GAIN experience through teaching your child, but rather, to adeptly access their OWN experience to choose repertoire and musical paths that benefit your child's study in the most efficient and practical way.

If you're looking for solo piano concerts, chamber collaborations, and input into any interesting and meaningful musical project, this is also the place to contact me! My performance credits include appearances with orchestra, solo and duo piano concerts, and chamber and vocal concerts in Canada and the US since 1999, including the Seacoast's premiere musical subscription concert, Abendmusik, which, this year, as part of its 10th anniversary, will see me playing and conducting Beethoven's Emperor Concerto October 22/2016.
