More about LA Pain Doctor

At LA Pain Doctor, our goal is to provide compassionate, prompt, and effective care to patients with chronic pain, especially to patients who may have already been evaluated and treated elsewhere without success.

Occasional pain is a natural part of life. Everyone understands the experience of headaches, neck pain, and back pain. Chronic pain can rule your life, interfering with your ability to work, sleep, and enjoy your family and friends. When chronic pain disrupts your quality of life and does not improve with standard treatments such as aspirin or ibuprofen, LA Pain Doctor is here to help. There are many safe, proven effective treatments available that can help you manage your chronic pain.

In order to produce the best possible outcomes, we work together with patients and their families to explore options designed to maximize quality of life and overall function.

The sooner you seek treatment, the sooner you can start enjoying life again.

Dr. Hijazi received his Doctorate of Medicine from one of the top medical schools in Italy.

He completed his medical residency in anesthesia at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and a fellowship in interventional pain management from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr. Hijazi’s research interest is regional anesthesia in pain management. He has been certified as a diplomat by the American Board of Anesthesia, the ABA Pain Management Board, and is both ACLS and PALS certified. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesia, River Parishes Medical Society, and Louisiana State Medical Society.

Dr. Hijazi uses all of the knowledge and experience he has gained in the past 20+ years to provide his patients with top notch medical care. Through examinations, he diagnoses the source of your pain, whether it’s an injury to the spine, joints, tendons, nerves, or ligaments. He then creates an individualized pain treatment plan for your condition that may include therapy, injections, and other invasive or non-invasive procedures.
