La Pulperia, a restaurant featuring Rustic Latin Cuisine from Chef/Owner Carlos Barroz and Victor Medina, opened September 15, 2014, at 1626 Second Avenue. Named after the general stores found throughout South America, La Pulperia offers Barroz's simple yet refined cuisine from the countries of Latin America with European influences from places like Italy and Spain.
La Pulperia UES is a place the area has yet to experience. With unparalleled hospitality that will catch the locals hearts. The restaurant boasts a flavorful, rustic menu by Chef Carlos Barroz who specializes in cuisines spanning from Mexico to Argentina and all the Latin American Nations in between. Be adventurous in the bar's extensive collection of Latin Spirits, and delight in our inventive mixology cocktail menu that plays a twist on traditional Latin drinks, like the Pisco Sour, Coladas, Margaritas and Mojitos.
