Laughing Buddha Massage and Holistic Arts

I was an art major at App State in 2000. I was lucky enough to take a trip with the Appalachian Art Department to the Ivory Coast in West Africa. I was completely blown away by their culture and art. While I was there I met a massage therapist and became really close with her. We would talk about our lives and the more she spoke of the healing arts, the more I became interested. While we were there we were also studying the local diviners or witch doctors. Between meeting this woman and seeing her passion for helping others heal themselves, and the complete magical setting of the country I was in, I came home a new woman.

I got my first massage and Reiki session and was hooked! I enrolled in massage school at The North Carolina School of the Healing Arts in Raleigh, N.C., (now known as the Healing Arts and Massage School), graduated in 2003 and have been in love ever since.
I moved to San Diego, C.A. where I continued to practice and get more education. I have had training in Hot Stones, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue and Reiki.
I believe art and massage have a lot in common and view my massage as an extension of my art and creativity. I love helping others through my art of bodywork and energy healing!
