LBD Animal Massage & Care is a full service provider of all your pet sitting needs. All sitting rates include food & water, potty breaks, 15-40min walks (depending on the package you select), medication administration if applicable, play time, photos/videos (e-mailed/texted to you to ease your mind), general home maintenance, &, as always, tons of love!

Innovative Pet Therapy is massage for animals, created from their perspectives.

We receive massages for various reasons (to relieve tension, to engage muscle movement, or simply to pamper ourselves) but often forget that our animal friends actually have the same needs. Everyday life such as crate training, exercise and athletic training, boredom, fatigue, traveling, separation anxiety, growing into their adult bodies and even growing old can lead to fascia sticking.

This is when connective tissue sticks to itself, causing muscular dehydration, which leads to a shortening of the muscles due to lactic acid build up. That's the same thing that causes sore muscles after you work out. It hurts! Decreased joint movement follows as a result, and the animal may become agitated or depressed and less likely to cooperate with humans as well as other animals.

IPTouch utilizes four approaches to relieve muscle tension: permission, blocking, gentling, and positional elongation. Through IPTouch, animals allow themselves to be more relaxed and receptive to being touched all over.

There are no more danger zones! Animals become more mobile and active, which leads to happier, healthier and even more social comrades!

Animals are never restrained or tethered during IPTouch, and nothing is done without their consent. Yes, the animal has to give approval too. Owners and handlers are given homework to continue the wellness program custom created based on each individual animal's needs. This will not only aid in relieving their dis-ease but strengthen your bond with them, so everyone can be happier and healthier together!

I, myself, have grown up with animals almost all of my 30 years of life, including dogs, cats, mice, ferrets, rabbits, horses, and small birds & am currently working to expand my wild animal repertoire.
