What We Believe
1. The Church was established at a certain time, Pentecost, 30A.D. - Acts chapter 2

Hearing the gospel - Acts 2:37 "When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" and Romans 10:17 "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."
Believing in Jesus Christ - Acts 2:41 "Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day." and Hebrews 11:6 "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. "
Repenting of all sin - Acts 2:38 ""Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."" and Acts 17:30 "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent."
Confession of faith - Acts 8:37 "Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." and Romans 10:10 "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."
Baptism (immersion) for the remission of sins - Acts 2:38 ""Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."" and Acts 8:38-39 " And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away, and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing."

Praise - Ephesians 5:18-19 "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord."
