Situated along the beautiful bend on the upper Mississippi River at the intersection of I-80, LeClaire was home to the brave river pilots who navigated the treacherous Upper Rapids between LeClaire and Rock Island, Illinois and birthplace of Buffalo Bill Cody.

ATTENTION: This is not a forum for issues pertaining to the City of LeClaire, the Tourism Board or Information Center. If you have complaints or negative feedback about LeClaire, we ask that you contact our Tourism Director at info@visitleclaire.com, who will forward comments to the appropriate city officials.

The LeClaire, Iowa Tourism Facebook page welcomes all fans and wants your visit to be a positive one. This is a family-oriented, friendly page. Feel free to share your stories, ideas, and ask questions related to LeClaire, Iowa and we will do our best to respond appropriately within 2 business days. Differences of opinion are welcome as long as they are respectful. Please be courteous and respect those asking questions and have friendly discussions. Any post deemed to be anything else will be deleted.
