If you are tired of eating ice cream or frozen yogurt to cool off in the Central Valley heat, we are there to give you an exciting new option. With summer approaching, Leilani is opening its doors to provide the people of Fresno and Clovis with authentic Hawaiian Shave Ice. This is the only place in the area with this delicious, tropical treat.

Shave Ice (not shaved ice) should not be confused with snow cones. Snow cones consist of ice, which has been shaved down into small pieces with syrup poured on top. Because the ice is hard and chunky, the syrup either sits on top of the ice or drains to the bottom creating a puddle. Shave Ice, however, consists of ice that is so fine and fluffy that it feels like powdered snow, no chunks, just melt in your mouth deliciousness. Because of the fluffy texture, the flavor of the syrup is absorbed into the ice and thus each bite is as tasty and flavorful as the next.
