Dr. Henry R. Emery Jr. has opened an independent medical practice in response to a growing need for patient care that goes beyond the "5 minute models" pushed by corporate medicine. By being an independent physician, he is able to pick and choose from the specialists in our Charlotte area, without being restricted to one or the other corporate entity. Dr. Emery prides himself on delivering a medicine model that puts the patient first, proving that again and again through excellent patient satisfaction models and personal dedication to excellence. He feels that modern medicine doesn't have to leave behind the relationship of patient to physician and proves that by offering at-home visits for critically homebound patients to minimize stress for caregivers, time with his patients to make sure they are getting appropriate care, and dedicated oversight of their labs, which can often be done on-site.
