Jazz, TX has announced its first full season of Live at Jazz, TX, a new radio show with San Antonio’s NPR affiliate, Texas Public Radio (TPR). Following a successful pilot series in early 2017, Live at Jazz, TX will begin live-taping a full season of sixteen episodes on July 26, 2017. The show will feature Jazz, TX owner Doc Watkins and TPR Radio Host Nathan Cone; along with special guests and will include an interview segment, audience Q&A, and plenty of music. Show time will be at 8:30 pm, and will carry the usual weeknight cover charge of $10. The July 26 show will feature Doc Watkins and his 11-piece Orchestra. Mariachis Las Coronelas will perform on August 2nd.
Live at Jazz, TX will air on TPR’s 89.1 FM throughout South Texas every Saturday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting September 16, 2017.
