The LCC is a 7,000-square-foot building on approximately 4 acres in the village of Lucas, Ohio, which will serve to provide the joy of Christ through service to the community.
The LCC currently hosts volleyball courts and a House of Prayer, with plans to house the Lucas Area Ministerial Association (LAMA) Food Pantry, a pizza and dairy bar, a common dining area, a fellowship hall for rentals, latchkey kids activities, clothing resale, and various counseling services.
Needs: To offer assistance on the various needs of the local community, such as food, clothing, counseling, youth programs, elder assistance and more…
Education: To offer various opportunities to help educate the community on a wide variety of topics, such as personal finance, technology training, health, domestic relations, etc…
Fellowship: To provide a number of activities that encourage the community to gather ie. Volleyball, movie nights, restaurant, meetings and social events.
Ideally, the LCC will become a beacon of hope, joy, and peace experienced through the act of selfless giving and love to others.
