The Lucas County Sheriff's Office employs approximately 500 men and women who carry out a vast array of
complex duties, and work in a variety of positions. These positions include corrections officers, deputy
sheriffs, deputy clerks, 9-1-1 call takers, dispatchers, medical staff, inmate counselors and clerical staff.
These individuals are assigned to the Corrections Division, Law Enforcement Division and Administrative
Services Section of the Sheriff's Office.
