Lutheran Memorial is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Founded by Swedish settlers under a different name in 1883, by 1907 the congregation had undergone some changes and became affiliated with the Norwegian Lutheran Church of America. Various Lutheran mergers over the decades brought Lutheran Memorial to its current membership in the ELCA.
Today Lutheran Memorial Church is a vibrant and active congregation through which Jesus Christ invites people into this worshiping community and equips them for ministry so that members and friends of the congregation may live lives of faith for the purpose of building the body of Christ in the world.
