Once upon a time, our Grandma Nonie dazzled us with her delightful paintings, extraordinary handmade Christmas cards, and the ability to make anything beautiful. Long before we came along, Grandma created The Pink Potato; a flea market full of wonderful, unique, and shiny things - including the Pink Potato Cookbook. The cookbook was illustrated by Grandma and has some interesting recipes - like, "how to cook a camel". HA - you don't want to miss that one.

Mabel Mckinley is Alaskan owned and operated by the Mabel sisters. Mabel pays homage to Grandma Nonie's spirit and creativity by bringing you the very best in handmade, vintage, and repurposed goods...with a little bit of fancy new things that will delight you. If it's sparkly or different, we love it.

After years and years of "talking" about doing something with all of these things - we just decided to do it. We create, build, or find goodies that would make Grandma Nonie happy. Recently we've been in awe of fabulous dresses - for every shape.
