Hi there! We are Antonio and Rosaria, a young Italian couple from Calabria, Southern Italy. We come from two small beautiful sea towns called Scalea and San Nicola Arcella.
Antonio is a Master Chef and Rosaria has a hobby..... she loves to sing!
We start our experience in San Francisco to North Beach, where we became partnership in a Italian restaurant....but our dream was to open our own restaurant and after a short time we realized our goal!
We moved in San Mateo and we decided to call our restaurant Vespucci....like Amerigo Vespucci, the Florence navigator to which America owes its name.
We opened Vespucci Ristorante Italiano and for two years we got a lot of
satisfactions like: 4,5 stars in Yelp, Facebook, Foursquare, Tripadvisor and in the end the recognition of Michelin Guide 2015.
After that we decided to sold our beautiful restaurant to our friend because we love challenges and want to propose a new contemporary concept called MADE IN ITALY .
This place is “Stuzzicheria”, Wine bar and “Pizza Napoletana” means craving of
good food...but not necessary hungry, best flight wines...and the real Pizza D.O.C. with
our special dough to long rising and low yeast with only organic ingredients imported directly from Italy.
Our Pizza Maker Franco came from Naples. He follows all secrets of Neapolitan tradition handed down from his father who initiated the most famous pizzerias of Naples. He is one of few
who has the Certification of Pizza Maker D.O.C.
