MAPTS

The University of Alaska established the Mining and Petroleum Training Service in 1979 specifically to deliver training, development and consulting services to the resource industries of Alaska. MAPTS has expanded its services to provide hands-on heavy equipment training for both the mining and the oil & gas industry. MAPTS has offices in Soldotna, Juneau and Anchorage which serve the entire state. A talented staff of full-time and part-time professionals in various subject areas serve as instructional developers, consultants and instructors. Instructors and Adjuncts have extensive training and experience in their fields.
