Tucked away in Old Algiers amidst historic shotgun homes, our school is a treasured New Orleans tradition. Founded as one of the first schools for African-American children, McDonogh #32 has a storied history, with many families choosing to send their children for generations.

From whole-school honor roll celebrations and assemblies featuring New Orleans musicians and artists to band practice on DeArmas Street and film shoots, the McDonogh #32 family is on one page, working towards becoming the leading elementary and middle school in Algiers.
