Mecklenburg County Community Support Services

Community Support Services is a human services department of Mecklenburg County government, created to maximize partnership and collaborative opportunities to better provide service to customers.

CSS has three divisions: Prevention and Intervention Services, Homeless Services, and Veterans Services.

The primary purpose of this page is to highlight the department's programs, services, partnerships and events.

Our Vision: To be the innovative leader in providing veteran services, and in preventing and intervening to end homelessness, substance use, community and domestic violence.
