Picnic Areas: Meeks Bay is perfect for beachfront picnic gatherings with family and friends. Designated BBQ areas are available for reservation (for availability, please call (530) 525-6946 or e-mail mbr@washoetribe.us).

Marina: Meeks Bay Resort’s Marina offers a full service marina with various amenities. Featuring canoe, paddle boat and kayak rentals, as well as boat tours and fishing excursions on Lake Tahoe. Please click on Lake Amenities or call (530) 525-5588

Full Service Retail Store: Forget something? No problem, our retail store is sure to have it. Our Washoe Tribe has a full assortment of Native American crafts and culturally educational resources (books, maps & guides). The store also features camping supplies, groceries, drinks & refreshments, Coffee Bar, ice, bait & tackle, beach toys & accessories and Lake Tahoe novelties & souvenirs.

Wa She Shu Grille: Enjoy a cook-to-order meal on our deck overlooking the beach. Featuring certified Angus beef hamburgers, jumbo hot dogs, chicken sandwiches & wings, paninis, drinks, beer & wine and so much more.

Parking: The resort has parking for easy access and handicap access (boat dock, Wa She Shu Grille & General Store) to our famous beach (fee required).

ACTIVITIES
Meeks Bay Resort offers a variety of activities and events that are fun for the whole family and are available spring, summer and fall.

Hiking: Meeks Bay is the perfect trailhead for entering the Desolation Wilderness and other areas related to Meeks Bay Meadow. Short hikes can be taken at Sugar Pine Point Park and D.L. Bliss State Park.

Biking: A new Bike Trail (available spring 2015) starts at Meeks Bay. Bring your bike or rent one of ours. Bike valet parking is available

Beach: We have the finest white sand beach on Lake Tahoe complete with a designated swimming area and volleyball net.

Boating & Marina: Meeks Bay Resort Marina offers a full service marina with various amenities such as canoe, paddle boat, and kayak rentals, as well as boat tours and fishing excursions in Lake Tahoe. Meeks Bay is a great place to learn to paddleboard. Please call (530) 525-5588 for more information.

Fishing: World famous Mackinaw trout can be caught from shore or you can inquire about full service charters at the marina.

RESERVATIONS

The 2014 Meeks Bay summer season will be from May 16th thru October 20th. The Washoe tribe is currently accepting reservations for the 2014 season online and by phone.
We will be accepting reservations for the 2015 summer season starting Thursday, May 1st at 8:00am online at www.meeksbayresort.com. We will also be accepting phone reservations, but highly recommend our new online reservations system. Call toll free at (877) 326-3357 or (530) 525-6946.
All lodging, RV sites and Tent sites will be charged a 50% deposit at time of reservation. All balances are due two weeks before the reservation date (except the Kehlet Mansion, the balance being due two months before the reservation date). Lodging reservations cancelled more than two weeks before the reservation date will be subject to a $75.00 cancellation fee. Lodging reservations cancelled less than two weeks of the reservation date will be subject to 50% of the total reservation. Reservations for the Kehlet Mansion cancelled more than two months before the reservation date will be subject to a $150.00 cancellation fee. Kehlet reservations cancelled within two months of the reservation will be charged 50% of the total reservation. All RV and Tent site reservations are non-refundable. Reschedules will be permitted within the current season only, based on availability.
