MEHOP

Matagorda Episcopal Health Outreach Program (MEHOP) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing Primary Medical, Dental, OB/GYN, Pediatrics and Behavioral Health services to residents of Matagorda County and surrounding areas. MEHOP accepts all patients regardless of whether they are insured or uninsured. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, CHIPS, Private Insurance and Self Pay.

For self pay (uninsured) patients, MEHOP offers a sliding fee scale, which provides discounted fees for services based on household income if eligible. If a patient has Medicare or Medicaid, they may still qualify for our sliding fee scale. This would allow the patient to receive discounted fees for services received that may not be covered by insurance, such as dental services.
