Mellissa Beard

I am a native Tucsonan. I enjoy hiking, camping, and photography. When I'm not on a trail, I spend my free time walking around downtown admiring the architecture or just driving around aimlessly in our incredibly diverse city. I have been working in the real estate business since my early 20’s. Beginning with apartment management and maintenance to buying and selling fixer uppers (and fixing them up) for an investor and eventually for myself. After having several rental properties I decided being a landlord isn't really my thing so I liquidated those assets and became a Realtor. I am passionate about supporting local business, which was just one of the many reasons Tierra Antigua was the perfect brokerage firm for me. Besides being Southern Arizona's largest locally-owned agency, Kim and Matt are incredible people who show up to work every day just like everyone else. In 2014, they established the Tierra Antigua Hope Foundation. A quote from their mission statement: “If it weren’t for this community, we would have nothing."” When I read this I knew Tierra Antigua was the perfect fit for me.
