More about Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center

This landmark colonial-style structure, known as the J.W. Warner House, was built in 1911. It now serves as a multi-functional arts hub offering a variety of artistic disciplines, and the new home of the Creation Art Center, Miami Hispanic Ballet, Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, The International Steinway Partner School of Music and the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami School.

On the first floor, you will find the administration offices and the Peña Art Gallery that will feature a different artist every month. The second floor contains two ballet studios for students of all ages; children and adults; beginners to advanced. The third story is a conservatory with six music studios offering instruction in wind and string instruments, guitar and piano, as well as and an opera and choral studio, and a recording studio.

The original colonial style building will be complemented by contemporary architecture housing state of the art ballet studios, designed by architect Omar A. Morales. The planned activities at the Miami Hispanic Cultural Arts Center will enrich the arts in Miami and preserve our Hispanic cultural legacy.
