Micro is a town in Johnston County, North Carolina, United States. The population density was 1,114.9 people per square mile (427.5/km²). There were 225 housing units at an average density of 552.5 per square mile (211.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 90.97% White, 7.71% African American, 1.10% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.96% of the population.There were 211 households out of which 25.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.6% were married couples living together, 12.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 41.2% were non-families. 39.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 24.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
