MIDD - West operates the following programs and services for the disabled populations of Warren and Claiborne Counties in Mississippi:
Sheltered Workshop-
Paid employment and training for community employment in a supervised setting. Goals for persons served are both employment and personal / daily living skills attainment.
Developmental Services-
Daily care and skills training for the severely disabled.
Transportation Services-
Group transport to and from Workshop and Developmental Services. Transport for personal needs is also provided.
Community Employment Placement-
Real work placement, and on the site job coaching.
Community Supportive Services-
Case management to eliminate personal and logistical barriers to permanent employment. Resources for other community services to the handicapped.
Evaluation and Assessment Services-
Identifies levels and types of disability, individual strengths and establishes eligibility for specific services.
