Midway is a census-designated place and an unincorporated area in Seminole County, Florida, United States. The population was 1,714 at the 2000 census. The racial makeup of the CDP was 3.85% White, 93.58% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.58% Asian, 0.76% from other races, and 1.17% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.11% of the population.There were 583 households out of which 27.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 31.6% were married couples living together, 31.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.2% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.94 and the average family size was 3.52.
