MT Adventure Workshop operates year-round with different workshops that take Missoula area teens into the surrounding hills and teach them how to engage constructively with their environment, their peers, and themselves.
Our summer workshop runs Monday-Friday with daylong adventures based from Missoula into the surrounding area.
Our school-year workshops will operate in each of the Missoula public schools during a different season (fall, winter, spring). These workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, after school until 6pm. Occasionally we will meet on a Saturday to explore certain topics more in depth. Again, our aim is to get outside and explore the surrounding area, and to learn new ways of enjoying the natural resources available to us here in Missoula.
We do everything fun we can, including hiking, canoeing, rafting, disc golfing, rock climbing, rappelling, geocaching, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, primitive skills, orienteering, animal identification, plant identification, and leave-no-trace practices.
