More about MisterLino

Misterlino began in 1990 as a small roasting plant in Parma, Italy. The company quickly made a name for itself, as it imported only the best beans from places such as Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Guatemala, and Mexico. This humble workshop gained rapid success and was invited to join the Specialty Coffee Association of Europe in 1995. In 2001, the first Misterlino Coffee Shop opened just outside of Parma. This coffee shop was the first of its kind in the area; it served high-quality, Italian coffee in an atmosphere similar to an American style “coffeehouse”. misterlino quickly expanded, opening shops across Italy and, eventually, around the world. Misterlino has locations in Egypt, United Arab Emirates, France, Kuwait, South Africa, Morocco, Slovakia, Switzerland, and one in the United States.

Lino’s Coffee in Speedway, Indiana offers Hoosiers a true Italian experience without leaving the Midwest. Coffee beans are still collected worldwide and shipped to Italy, where flavors and aromas are tested to create the best blends. Lino’s not only receives its beans from Italy, but it also receives fresh shipments of authentic Italian meats, cheeses and other ingredients.

Although the ingredients, the recipes, and the quality remains unchanged, Lino’s location in Speedway offers a unique twist on the Italian coffee shop. Located in the Dallara Indy Car factory, Lino’s sits in the heart of racing and frequented by Italian drivers and engineers. It boasts an authentic Italian menu, including paninis, pizza, pasta, salad, and gelato, as well as a full bar specializing in Hoosier craft beer. Lino’s offers events nearly every weekend, its most popular being Tap Takeovers and Pint Nights. Despite Lino’s growing presence in the bar scene, by day, it remains a traditional, European-style bistro, where locals enjoy their handcrafted
