Montana Wild Wings Recovery Center

Partnering with the public, as well as Montana Fish Wildlife & Parks, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services, Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes & the Blackfeet Nation, the area we serve extends from the Canadian border to the Mission Valley, and from the Continental Divide to the Idaho border. The organization is staffed by VOLUNTEERS (and receives veterinary services from several wonderful loca veterinarians) with permits issued by the State of Montana and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. Beth (formerly Sorenson) Watne first founded another nonprofit organization (Wildlife Return) in 1982, and retired from that organization in 2005. The MWWRC group is composed of USFWS & FWP permittee Beth Benjamin Watne, FWP permittee Kari Gabriel, and several subpermittees under both permits with extensive wildlife rehab & education experience from similar organizations in AK, AZ, CA, and PA. MWWRC operates solely on monetary contributions from individuals & organizations, food donations from the public & FWP, and veterinary expertise from several local animal hospitals.
