The Montgomery County Conservation Corps will use a comprehensive approach to working with youth 17-24. The youth will be provided with the opportunity to attain their GED and gain hands-on experience by working in the field completing projects based on conservation principles. As a part of the program, participants will attend weekly Lifeskills and Job Readiness Training workshops. Corps members earn a monthly stipend and are provided with necessary equipment and training to successfully complete projects.
