Mountain Institute Joint Technical Education District - MIJTED

Mountain Institute offers a range of Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses to Western Yavapai County students in Arizona. Our students concurrently attend their home high school for graduation and attend our campuses for their Career Training. Over 1,500 students are currently enrolled from Ash Fork, Bagdad, Chino Valley, Humboldt, Mayer, Prescott, and Seligman school districts, as wells as many charter, private and home schoolers. Each CTE program we offer is selected through the use of state labor market data to be high skill; high wage and/or high demand career opportunities. All CTE program standards and curriculum are industry driven and span into post-secondary education opportunities. Students who are enrolled in MI Programs may earn credits which can be applied to Graduation at their Home High School, and may also earn additional credits at Yavapai Community College, some college credits are transferable to other colleges and universities. ALL MIJTED programs end in at least one (most have multiple) Industry Certifications that qualify them for immediate employment.
