My name is Michele E. Boigris, I am married and a mother of two girls. I have been a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and a graduate of Physician Aide School in Jamaica, NY for Medical Office Assistant. Recently, I graduated from Strayer University with an Associate in Business Administration. I am pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Health Service Administration from Strayer University. My experience and responsibilities are elaborated below:

Supervision and management of clinical externship training for students. Managing the placement of students on externship including weekly follow up regarding attendance and progress. Providing interviewing skills and related workshops to enhance the professionalism of my students. Responsible for placement of students at time of graduation by utilizing relationships developed with employers during my many years of experience in the medical field.

During the past 30 years, I have worked as a Medical Assistant for several doctors in both New York and Florida. I have worked at Concorde Career Institute, Florida Career College, Sheridan Technical College and School of Health Careers/American Institute in the positions of Director of Allied Health, Externship Coordinator, Program Director, and Allied Health Instructor. I have the experience from the employer’s perspective as well as the students’ in how their preparation and training will secure successful outcomes. My ability to relate my own personal experiences provides the credibility needed to gain the confidence from students to help them reach their potential.
