In a tiny hillside village in Neapolis Lakonia Greece in 1907 my grandmother Eleni made doughboys for my aunt Frieda "Mrs. Gus" when she was a little girl. In 1940 she commercialized it and till we closed in 1985 we sold aprox 20 million doughboys many times 650 dozen a day.The recipe is still a secret today.
