My Studio, LLC was formed and established with the question of "What if?" in mind.
In today's profession of photography many up and coming photographers, who are great artists, in their own right, do not have the constant and needed access to a facility that offers professional lighting and accessories that accomodate and make a vast difference in the world of photography.
In October of 2015, I was invited to the studio of Sally Kolar, Master Photographer, for a Halloween Shoot-around. While in this professional atmosphere, I instantaneously made 3 quick observations, although there were many more to follow throughout the evening of the Shoot-around.
1. Sally was doing something for the up and coming photographers that no one else, in the area, to my knowledge, was doing by allowing access to her studio. The ambience of a professional studio setting was unparalleled.
2. The atmosphere and experience of shooting with professional lighting was unique in and of itself. It, to me, was matchless, compared to any other lighting experience I had ever had.
3. I felt as though that, with the proper equipment, an environment conducive to teaching and learning photography; with proper instruction along with hands on training and use of the equipment, I could become a pretty good photographer. I also felt others could do the same, if the playing fields were leveled.
