myON, a business unit of Capstone, develops personalized learning environments for students. myON provides access to the largest integrated library of enhanced digital books with multimedia supports, including professionally-recorded audio, text highlighting and a dictionary, and embedded Lexile assessments to measure reading growth. myON's platform includes content from its parent company, Capstone—the leading educational and library publisher of the last 25 years—as well as more than 40 third-party publishers, including 70% nonfiction titles and 10% Spanish titles.

myON enables students to read at school, at home, and across the community on any Internet-enabled device. This unlimited access to more than 5,000 titles allows students to take ownership of their learning: through their personalized dashboard, students can view recommended book lists, a record of the books they’ve opened and read, their Lexile assessments and a growth trajectory report.

In turn, myON enables teachers and administrators to track students’ literacy growth at the student-, class-, building-, and district-level. Through its partnership with MetaMetrics, myON provides actionable data on: number and type of books opened and read; time spent reading; completion of book quizzes; results of initial placement exam; results of regular benchmark assessments; and a report that forecasts long-term reading growth.
