NINE at Hensville

Chef Tony House has created a menu that he describes as “traditional Americana … with a twist.” Indulge in standby favorites like Mama’s Meatloaf (served on a fresh baked bun) and the Li’l NINE Burger (cut from top sirloin), to creative Brisket Fritters and Herb Smoked Trout with tarragon crème fraiche. Many of the ingredients found in the dishes come from area farms and producers.

NINE at Hensville is located in the heart of the historic Warehouse District in downtown Toledo. The building that houses NINE was built in 1865 and was once home to a meat packing company. Exposed brick, reclaimed wood pillars and hand-crafted tables give the space texture and create a comfortable neighborhood atmosphere.

NINE takes its name from both the restaurant street address, and, with the restaurant being located next to the home of the world famous Mud Hens baseball team, the number of innings in a game and players on the field.
