North Coast Piano Festival

The North Coast Piano Festival is dedicated to inspiring and training young pianists. Under the guidance of world famous pedagogues NCPF presents wonderful opportunities for piano students ages 13-23 to experience the art of intensive learning and performing.

Our mission is to encourage young musicians to expand and enrich their knowledge and performing skills at the piano. We are motivated to give the festival participants a promotional platform in their future dedication.

The North Coast Piano Festival is hosted by the Department of Music at Humboldt State University in the beautiful city of Arcata, California. Located on the coast between San Francisco and the Oregon border, Arcata is surrounded by giant redwoods and dazzling ocean views. At the North Coast Piano Festival every student will be able to take private lessons, participate in studio and master classes, take part in theory and accompanying classes and compete at the NCPF piano competition. The students will be able to enjoy great concerts performed by our world-class faculty and enjoy a relaxing time in the beautiful redwoods. Resident chaperones will help take care of the students and their needs.
