The Natural Resources Trust of Easton (NRT), is a member supported, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to environmental education and land conservation. The NRT runs Sheep Pasture, a beautiful 154-acre land trust located on Main Street in North Easton. Sheep Pasture is comprised of walking trails through amazing habitats, like meadows, forests, and streams. Sheep Pasture is home to many farm animals, including, chickens, geese, goats, a cow and of course sheep!
The NRT Education Department at Sheep Pasture offers a variety of environmental programs for groups interested in learning more about local ecology. Our on-site and outreach programs are suited for all ages, including preschoolers, K-12 students, college students, scouts, families, and adults. Also at Sheep Pasture, the NRT operates a summer nature camp, partners with area school departments to provide programs for their students, and hosts the popular fall NRT Harvest and Craft Fair, which has routinely attracted over 15,000 visitors in a single day.
