NUMU Atelier, Los Gatos

NUMU Atelier, Los Gatos provides hard-to=find classical drawing and painting skills to teens and adults. Classes meet Monday-Wednesday and we have morning, after school and evening sessions to choose from.

An Atelier is where a master artist teaches and works with his or her students. Skills are mastered in a traditional sequence, starting with drawing and progressing to painting.

Atelier Director Gabriel Coke has designed a well-lit, beautifully appointed, totally functional teaching studio that will be an integral part of this inspiring and productive museum community.

Gabriel is a gifted art teacher who has himself studied with many masters around the world. His students are given generous amounts of time and attention to develop their artistic talent.

Atelier students learn many skills and techniques as they master cast, still life, portrait and figure drawing & painting, using charcoal, graphite, chalk on fine paper, or atelier-grade oil paint on panels or linen.
