Obst Farm

Our mission at Obst Farm is to raise the healthiest, most natural meat products our land can produce for our neighbors here in Western New York! In so doing, we continually improve the land we use, not deplete it. Our animals are raised in as natural a way as possible within our intensive, rotational grazing system. We ensure that they are eating their natural God-given diets - nothing more and nothing less. The cattle and sheep only eat naturally occurring grasses and forages in our pastures and lots of hay in the winter. The rabbits live on pasture all year eating grass or hay. The chickens live out on pasture with access to fresh grass, bugs and sunlight as soon as they’re mature enough to do so. It is a joy to see the animals spread another layer of topsoil on their pastures each year. Lastly, we NEVER use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, medicated (antibiotic) feed, or hormones in our pastures or animals. The principles by which we farm ensure that my family and our customers consume a delicious, premium meat product that is an invaluable asset to our health. Our customers are always welcome to see our beautiful farming operation and magnificent animals hard at work!
