Ohio Sports & Spine Institute, Ltd. (OSSI) is a multidisciplinary medical staff that provides physical medicine, occupational medicine and chiropractic services. We specialize in providing comprehensive treatment and therapy for workers’ compensation injuries, auto accident injuries, sports injuries, recreational injuries and general injuries in the greater Youngstown area. We are one of the few practices in Ohio that combines these services. We have offices in Boardman, Poland and East Liverpool.

Our doctors, Dr. Joseph Cerimele, Dr. Joseph DiDomenico, Dr. John Dunne and Dr. Irene Heldman, along with our therapists, deliver customized treatment plans to get you back to your job or your active lifestyle as quickly and safely as possible. Electrodiagnostics

Our board-certified physicians in physical Medicine and rehabilitation will perform and interpret EMG studies on selected patients. An EMG, or electromyogram, is useful in determining whether or not suspected muscle groups or nerves have been injured. An EMG is a test that measures the electrical activity of your nerves and muscles. The test will consist of two parts: nerve conduction study and needle electrode examination. The test can help determine the cause of muscle weakness, paralysis and spasms, as well as pain in the arms, hands, feet and face.
