The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law is the #1 criminal law journal in the country -- an accolade that we hold very proudly. Advised by five esteemed members of OSU's faculty, OSJCL publishes two issues each year. The Journal‘s purpose is to provide useful, interesting, and provocative commentary on critical issues of interest to the national, and even international, criminal justice community. Each issue includes solicited scholarly articles, in a symposium format with a Guest Editor, written by experts on the subject.
According to the Washington & Lee Law Review Rankings, we are among the top 100 law journals in the country, and we have published articles written by many Supreme Court advocates, such as Stephen Bright, Barry Scheck, and Yale Kamisar.
