More about Oklahoma Longbowmen

If you are interested in an archery club that has an archery range, monthly shoots and meetings then look elsewhere, but if you like to camp out, stump shoot and hunt with primitive archery equipment then read on. The Oklahoma Longbowmen was organized in 1983 for those interested in primitive bows and longbows, although some members shoot recurve bows. Most of our members make some or all of their own equipment. Each club event is usually a campout for the weekend, we have no meetings other than those around the campfire. We have a newsletter that is published about three weeks before our club sponsored annual events. In the past we have had squirrel, rabbit, deer, and feral hog hunts and fish shoots. We also assist with the Indian Creek Archery Rendezvous in Pawhuska every May which is put on by one of our members. If that sounds like what you are interested in, then this is the club for you. Send dues of $10.00/year, your name and address to: The Oklahoma Longbowmen, PO Box 1063, Newcastle, OK 73065.
