Our Lady of the Lake University's Worden School of Social Service has been educating social workers for over 70 years and offers both the Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work. As the first school of social work in Texas, OLLU has set the standards for social work education and is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. OLLU social work graduates can be found in every sector of social service worldwide. In 2009, the Worden School of Social Service won the coveted Council on Social Work Education Presidential Award for Excellence in Social Work Education!

Worden's MSW program is one of only three programs in the United States with a concentration in Direct Practice to Hispanic Children and Families.
