Operation: STAT

Operation: S.T.A.T. (Standing Tall for American Troops) is an organization started by volunteers who do not want to see our Veterans forgotten about. Too many of them are in the VA Hospitals around the country without a single visitor; most do not get any visits from their friends or family. This is unacceptable to me and it should be unacceptable to all of us. These men and women signed up, represented, fought, and many were injured so that we could enjoy the freedoms and lifestyles we currently enjoy. There is absolutely NO reason that these Veterans should ever be left in a hospital alone to die. They sacrificed for our country in ways that many of us (Including myself) did not have the courage to do. We may not have chosen to stand NEXT to them in battle, but that doesn't mean we can't stand FOR and with them now.

Annually, on the Sunday before Christmas, we will be delivering upwards of 3000 stockings to the patients at 5 VA hospitals. We will be visiting Cleveland, Sandusky, Lorain, Dayton, and Erie, PA. We will need approximately 300 volunteers (or more, you can never have too many) to help carry out this mission.

We will also need ALL of you, who support our Veterans, to donate stockings and other items needed to fill these stockings. Without your help, our mission will not be successful.

Our ultimate goal is to have an Operation: S.T.A.T. chapter in all states across the country within the next 5 years. When this goal is reached veterans, nationwide, will have someone to contact when they are in need. With your help we can ensure that all veterans in VA hospitals will receive a little extra cheer around the holidays. If you are interested in starting a chapter please contact us.
