Original Gravity Public House

Located in the heart of Downtown San Jose, Original Gravity offers 35 rotating taps of incredible craft beer, ciders and meads as well as a small but mighty bottle selection. We are constantly seeking out the best and brightest craft beer has to offer. Focusing our list loosely on 80% domestic and 20% imported craft, with attention to seasonal offerings as well. Local or abroad chances are you'll find it here.

In addition to our craft beer selection we offer gourmet sausages, duck fat french fries, poutine and artisan grilled cheese sandwiches. Endless pairing possibilities.

Original Gravity prides itself on a welcoming environment for beer geeks to the craft curious alike. Order food and drinks at the bar, take your number, grab your beverage and a seat and we will find you with the grub.

Sun - Wed expect to find a seat, Thurs - Sat get pretty busy and our tables and our beer garden fill up fast. First come first serve, reservations for groups of 10 or more 24 hours in advance depending on availability.

We take craft beer very seriously but always aim to have a fun and informative conversation about it. We aim to share and teach without the snobbery, and find something new and exciting for you each and every time.
